Jeffrey and Diana Miller played host for a whirl-wind three day stay in Honduras. Diana prepared wonderful meals every evening while Jeffrey shared his extensive (he pioneered all of the sites) local knowledge. The highlight of the trip took place after two days of parawaiting. On the third day of the trip we took two flights from two different launches in the mountains above Villa de San Francisco. The first flight was into an overcast sky after a 45 minute hike up the mountain and resulted in a 15 minute sledder back into the valley. After a retrieve and some lunch Jeffrey and Diana and the retrieve driver drove us back up the mountain to the second launch. This time we launched in the late afternoon into sunny skies with 10 mph winds in our faces. Jeffrey launched first and quickly found dynamic lift along the mountain ridge line. Patrick and I followed his line and soon we were all three on the ridge. An hour and 5 minutes of pure bliss followed! I ended my flight with some wing overs as the three of us landed is a nifty synchronized 1-2-3 pattern.
